Pros

Everyone is so supportive, friendly, and have great intentions, management included. If you make under 70k your health insurance payments are covered. Emphasis on work life balance and internal improvements. Empowers their employees and encourages everyone to get involved. For every level positions, there is room for development if you connect with your manager early.

Cons

With any business there is busy seasons and slower seasons. Busy seasons are severely understaffed with explanations due to “budget restrictions”. I think they would save themselves a lot of turnover replacements of burnt out employees if they hired the extra 2 or 3 people. They often use “incentives” to have people work OT or literally just show up on busy days with gift card raffles. Love a gift card but at that point just use that money to hire someone or pay us more so to compensate.

Thank you for the four-star review. Empowering Employees is a key part of our strategic vision. As we continue to transform our Contact Center, we take employee feedback like this very seriously. It’s true we have seasonal busy times and do our best to keep those stretch times fun and engaging for employees, but there are many factors aside from budget that may impact a certain month or quarter. I appreciate you sharing your perspective and feedback.

Pros

Great opportunities here to become a true student of the business. Flexibility in work location, because it's really and truly a fully remote first workplace. Opportunity to develop and nurture an effective sales system, bring value and partner for a lifetime with financial professionals to help grow businesses, and protect clients' and families' futures. Guidance and employee engagement in future-proofing the business, leadership opportunities, and opportunities for community impact that you can measure both with hard data and with emotional impact on the team. I'm genuinely glad to get up and go to work every morning. I'm grateful for the opportunity, and the confidence given to us to be driven and self-sufficient professionals.

Cons

Training is getting exponentially better, and structure is fomenting, but still isn't where it should be, by far. Sales teams bolster each other, but there's a perception of "performance punishment" that affects morale. The company wants to be a top ten carrier, but feels like it's lacking direction in other divisions, and our operational growing pains are evident to advisors.
