Pros
Work-life balance: There is a lot of flexibility for life to occur during your regular work hours when needed. If you need to leave early or work from home to accommodate a personal need, managers are more than willing to work with you. Leadership structure: though there is a hierarchy of leadership and management, the daily operations are pretty flat. You can often find the President, VP and Directors in rooms problem solving with Managers, Team Leaders and individual Team Members. Growth Opportunities: Symbeo very much prefers to hire and promote from within so there is a lot of opportunity to grow up or out from whatever role you are currently in. Management works together and with individuals to support smooth and quick team transitions when a promotion is received. Learning Opportunities: when a mistake happens, there isn't finger pointing to find the responsible individual but rather there is a team effort to solve the immediate problem and review after to discuss ways to avoid the issue in the future or recognize it as a fluke or edge-case and move on. Friendly/helpful people: most people genuinely like working with each other, there is a lot of laughter. People are more than willing to help each other out too. Whether it is helping the new person work the coffee machine or taking on a task to help a team member meet a customer deliverable. Everyone works together to get the most important things done as a company.
Cons
Amount of annual pay increases are limited by percentage which makes it difficult to provide a meaningful increase for some team members. Though they are constantly working to provide better medical benefits, they are still not the greatest.
