Pros
I worked with the product team at Sycle for 2.5 years and highly recommend the organization as a suitable place to grow, be challenged and get recognition for your work. I was encouraged to take on responsibility, and being self-organized goes a long way. The product leadership did a very good job in enabling the team and providing the support/resources needed to do well with the product. Over my time there, I saw the engineering, project management, and product teams evolve together to apply Agile Scrum. This did take some trial and error, but the crew found an implementation that worked well. The people are nice, pay is competitive, there is a lot to be done, but still a good work/life balance can be attained. Highly recommend.
Cons
In classic fast growing software company manner, when given a surge of cash, Sycle had over-hired for the engineering team and this increased pressure on the product team. From my understanding, more of an equilibrium has been obtained since.
