Pros

Completely virtual working environment with flexible hours and decent incentives.

Cons

HUGE lack of diversity especially for an organization that calls itself progressive. People of color should steer clear of them. Unfocused leadership.

Pros

I had the pleasure of volunteering with Swing Left for the 2020 election cycle which was a huge success for Democrats, retaining the house and winning the Senate/White House! Swing Left provided all of the resources and direction needed for me to be successful in leading my regional volunteers to engage voters. Especially with COVID-19 impacts, the Swing Left staff worked tirelessly and quickly to transition us from in-person canvassing to remote activities like virtual phone banking, text banking, etc. They also kept us engaged with regular team meetings, provided email newsletter templates so we could keep our volutneers engaged and up to date as well, and so much more. Well done, Swing Left!

Cons

Swing Left doesn't always have a lot of control over how campaigns run their virtual phone banks or other activities so sometimes things would go wrong that we couldn't prep for. But Swing Left was always good about partnering with campaign managers to rectify any issues. Not really any big cons!
