Those in the rank-and-file are super nice, and eager to do good work. Pay is decent for a venture-backed company Benefits are "ok"

Over my time at Swimlane, I watched as the Sr. Leadership systematically drove out those in leadership that were good and replaced them with uncaring and ridged yes men. The CEO seems completely out of touch with the company, its strategy, and is only focused on getting to IPO. It is clear to me that the board is losing patience with Swimlane and simply wants their investments back. Prior to placing a new CEO the company languished for almost 10 years under an ineffective founder. Those that are left in leadership are in two camps. Those unwilling to stick their neck out, and those that don't care about their employees, are ridged in their approach, and single-minded in old ways of thinking... likely only interested in cashing out. I also wonder about long-term cashflow. One warning sigh was that after each board meeting, Sr folks were immediately let go. The company is not meeting its targets and is getting its lunch eaten by competitors with more compelling security offerings. It also happened that all of those let go were the only folks with a strategic bone in their body. In short, good folks, really disappointing leadership. I don't have confidence in Swimlane's future.
