Pros

Everyone is extremely friendly and outgoing. As soon as I started as an intern, the other employees were very willing to help me complete the projects I was assigned & they made me feel very welcome. They are extremely organized and keep instructions one how to do the tasks you complete for operations, merchandising, sales, and programs. I really enjoy working here, it has been the best internship that I've held by far.

Cons

Really the only downside that I can think of is that the location is about 35 minutes from my university, so I do have to drive and can't take public transportation. However, there is ample parking & since it is North of Boston-- you drive against traffic (meaning you miss Boston traffic during rush hours!)

Pros

Some of the employees have a great attitude and are fun to work with. There is a good amount of free 'samples' you end up taking home with you. Location is right off 128. mini gym (treadmills and dumb bells to 50LBS) on first floor but the shower situation is disgusting.

Cons

They try to be 'hip' and always open to new ideas but in reality they only care about the senior employees, who aren't many. They have no training programs and no direction from leadership in how to achieve success. There is no organizational structure. Low pay for the amount of stress induced and no room to grow until a sales rep retires or quits. With a company of under 50 employees they lost close to 8 people in the 8 months I was there which is strange since in the opening interview they stated no one leaves unless its for a dream job. Clearly not the case. LONG hours with no over time unless you are a contracted employee. Consistently talking about improvements and business development ideas but never execute. There is a high school clique mentality between the people who have been there the longest.

Thank you for your post. I'm very sorry that you left the company with such feelings. Like many employees, finding the right environment is key to our personal success. Working for an entrepreneurial company, has many benefits but it may not always be the right fit for every individual. I hope that you have found the right fit and will be successful in your next venture.
