Pros
Great benefits package for full time employees. Great amenities on campus, discounted/free to employees. Great culture & values. Music Store management encourages very healthy work/life balance. Plenty of upward and lateral mobility available; six of my department members were promoted within the department or took positions in different departments in a 12-month period. Yearly merit increase (pay raise). Employee social and community events including cookouts and tickets to local zoo and sports games.
Cons
Below average base pay in certain positions (offset by benefits). Music Store and Fulfillment Center have different management structure and polices; can feel like two different companies jointed together. Music Store struggles to reward high performers. Merit raise is flat rate percentage based, and truly merited raises are not often given outside of promotions.
