Pros
This company has the right heart, plain and simple. It's not about the next dollar, its about the next customer experience. Sweetwater empowers us all to do the right thing for each and every customer, even if it means losing money every now and then. They know that the customer is why we're here every day, not the profit line. They also understand that when you take care of customers, customers take care of you. So their focus is always driving employees to take care of customers and do the right thing, not driving increased margins and sales. The vast majority of people I work with are passionate about what they do and sincerely enjoy being here. Very few companies offer the amenities that Sweetwater does: Full public diner with employee discount, high quality coffee shop, Doctor and Nurse on site at NO charge, Salon and Spa on site, Full gym free for employees and families (24 hour), arcade, video/game lending (think old blockbuster style, but free), racquetball court, etc. The leadership respects employees and has the right heart. Sure, it's a business, and businesses need to make money, but having worked for multiple large companies before, no one even comes close to the positive culture here.
Cons
It's retail, so retail hours and working on some of the "lesser" federal holidays sometimes. Still only 40/week though.
