Pros

Employee discount 50%, coworkers and in-store management were generally enjoyable to work with, occasionally head office would run contests as sales incentives, benefits for sales leads and management, neat culture of brand loyal fans

Cons

Head office completely changed in the past year and not for the better. Anyone who cared at all about employees is gone, and they weren't even the best for this to begin with. They only care about numbers, don't care how pushy you have to be to reach their unrealistic goals, and WILL push you out of the company if you don't act like a retail robot. VERY little room for advancement, and they would often hire from outside the company rather than looking within. The quality of Swatch watches also seems to have taken a nosedive recently; the number of warranty replacements we had to do, and the number of unhappy customers with watches that just stopped working after a few years is staggering. The company gave employees no freedom to attempt to rectify these situations at store level, so if someone had an issue after office hours, or on weekends, they'd have to leave the store angry and be contacted later. (Sometimes having to wait days, or even weeks before hearing back from someone.)
