- relaxed, fun sales-focused environment - great discounts on most Swatch Group brands and jewelry - little direct supervision, managers were trusted to run it like their own business - cool products to sell - relatively easy and fun to merchandise utilizing company materials - freedom to hire a great team as you like with little interference
Cons
- low salaries for management - kiosk locations were unpleasant to work in with no temperature control or washrooms / staff area - not a lot of support from head office at times - low payroll budgets made it difficult to run a productive floor and lead to high turnover - division has a long history of poorly-chosen district and brand managers that are not held accountable or supervised properly - not a lot of locations, so moving up in the company is limited
