Good hours, 35-hour week. Half a day on a Friday. Lots of holiday days. The lab is a great working environment, the staff are fantastic. Pension contributions - 5% from the employer, 3% from the employee. Access to private healthcare after two years working there. Yearly pay rise... at directors discretion though.

The pay is average at best, bonus helps but is sporadic (it's eight weeks pay, paid in five payments). Every technician is paid a different amount despite having the same title and responsibilities. Progression is limited and slow, and it's hidden on how to achieve promotion. The factory has too much control on how the lab is run.
