Mixed feelings - Server/Host/Busser Sushi Station Employee Review

$14 an hour + good tips Reasonable shifts, 5-6 hours Side work is reasonable Management/owners are hard working and keep restaurant in top shape

Need to memorize almost entire menu to start receiving tips Owner can be picky and is very watchful No shift meal or discount on food

Love my locations owners, I am not busting my rear with cleaning tasks, easiest waitressing job I have ever had but the most lucrative as far as tips go (this could just be regional, I am not sure)

We are short staffed all of the time. I am not sure why so sometimes things get incredibly stressful because I am the only one on the floor serving, seating and busting and the place is completely full. Honestly though- I am not a fan of waitressing but I do it because it is the most lucrative thing I can do at the moment and this job is my favorite of all waitressing jobs I've had. I have worked at 5 restaurants in my life.
