Failing to Compensate Laid-Off Employees - Engineer Surprise.com Employee Review

Pros

Two years back, it was a strong 4+, but now, there's really nothing positive going on. The decline is significant, thanks to a weak product and the fact that no one with a proper product mindset is involved. Seriously, there's a total lack of expertise in production in this domain, and the CEO is calling all the shots in design.

Cons

1. Anyone can be fired in a single day; no prior notice is needed. 2. After you're fired, you won't get paid. Contracts/agreements ignored. 3. If you decide to leave on your own, you'll be labeled as a weak person.

Pros

Absolutely love the team here, they are phenomenal from a support perspective and truly experienced. Have learned a lot of valuable insights so far and sharpened my skillset. Navigating remote only work has not been easy but the constant help from the exec team, the outreach, the questions they ask to make sure were OK, its great. It feels surprisingly close knot for everyone being so far from each other, and I think this is company will be a WFH model for other remote tech organizations. Excited to see how things evolve in the next year

Cons

No cons yet, although if a true one pops up I will make sure to come back here and update it.
