Pros

Working in the week industry and working for a small (30 person company)

Cons

Leadership is totally disconnected with the employees and will not hesistate to backstab you at any time. Management and Sales travel and live remote but they frown to even order pizza for lunch for employees working in house. There are no org processess or structure of how things are to be completed and the clientele is stressful because the sales team is not selling projects which are even achievable or reasonable. There is no company culture or happy hours. There are no merit raises or performance reviews. Dont expect much from this company which has been an "expert" in the MMJ business for ~15 year - they are not experts at anything! This is without a doubt the most stressful job I have ever taken on in my career.

Absolutely everything else. The company has no vision, and no clear path forward. Starting at the top, there is a significant disconnect between the leadership of the company and operators at the bottom. Leadership has not set a clear direction for the company, and fails to address issues in a timely manner. There is no accountability for anyone in the company, and the lack of accountability has driven the company into its current situation. Problems are attributed to the market, to vendors, and to customers, when the reality is you have people leading the company who are not engaged, do not understand the product, and do not take responsibility for their actions, or lack there of. There are good people at the bottom operating the company and doing their best to keep things moving forward, but they are unsupported, and their efforts are not rewarded. Turnover is high, and employee morale is as bad I have ever seen it any company. There has been some turnover since covid and the company never seemed to recover. People are tired, and without some major changes, and some wins, the future is bleak.
