Pros

Since meeting the first person at SIS, who I now call my “brother” ( Ryan is a recruiter at SIS ) to having dinner in Chicago with our COO ( his name is Brad ) everyone has been like family. They were patient thru the hiring process talking everything thru, then gave me some time to process it all. If you’re currently in the surgical instrument repair field, and want to be part of this family at SIS contact them. Chances are there’s something open or opening in your area. On a side note. No one asked me to do this, nor am I receiving compensation for it. This is my passion, instrument repair. I was employed by another company for multiple years and the hiring manager promised everything but the moon, and never delivered. No leadership, good old boys club mentality, and no one checking up or listening to the issues at hand, I had enough. I didn’t realize what all I had been carrying that wasn’t mine was doing to me. Hey, psst…. yeah you…. apply at Surgical Instrument Services and see what I’m talking about!

Cons

The only cons I could say is that more businesses aren’t using their model, and treating people like they matter and are family, not a doormat to wipe your feet on.

Pros

Unfortunately there are NO pros.

Cons

-Toxic environment -Poor training -Underappreciation -Unrealistic expectations Everyone has a different perspective. However, when MULTIPLE people have similar negative experiences, that is not a good sign. It's a wonder there is such a high turnover rate.
