      Pros

      Can't think of any since things took a turn for the worst.

      Cons

      Lots of people quitting in the last year since the announcement (and continued delays) of the attempted acquisition by GTCR. All of the senior engineers have quit, leaving behind a very inexperienced workforce without much guidance. And this was all BEFORE the FTC decided to sue GTCR and Surmodics for an unlawful acquisition.

      Uncertainty with acquisition A lot of poor behavior gets swept under the rug and not resolved Acquisition caused delays in raises and promised promotions with no backpay
