Pros

Many of the people I worked with were wonderful, hard working and collaborative. 1 day a week in office was perfect, great office culture, fun events. It's not in a great location (Georgetown) for public transit, but they do provide free parking.

Cons

Pay is not competitive for the amount of work. Expensive and terrible Health Insurance options. Unlimited PTO, but in my role it was impossible to take a full week off without needing to work OT the week before and after. I never was able to take more than 2 days off at a time. There are some teams that are incredible to work with, but there are teams that are incredibly unpleasant, toxic and will make your life hell.

- Very fun work - Get to work with professional chefs - You will actually learn more about cooking in this position than you will taking the classes - Employee discounts

Cons

- Low pay with no opportunity for advancement, not a career path - Sometimes kitchen is understaffed, putting a lot of pressure on you
