Pros

Simple and easy job after working in restaurants. Less stress. Friendly team.

Cons

Corporate doesn't do enough to support the staff. If equpiment is broken then take the time to fix it will allow for much better results for the patrons that pay money for the products they make. Pastry recipes have to be adjusted about 50% of the time. Good thing I know how to pivot when needed

- Very fun work - Get to work with professional chefs - You will actually learn more about cooking in this position than you will taking the classes - Employee discounts

Cons

- Low pay with no opportunity for advancement, not a career path - Sometimes kitchen is understaffed, putting a lot of pressure on you
