Pros

Great company with opportunity for growth, especially if you're willing to relocate. They believe in promoting from within, so if you're willing to work for a bit as a part time floor lead, you can get promoted to ASM or SM within a year or so. Some people go from the stores to corporate. Another plus. I have found upper management responsive to the field.

Cons

It's retail so the holiday hours are just that. But they are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas and have shorter hours on the other holidays.

- Very fun work - Get to work with professional chefs - You will actually learn more about cooking in this position than you will taking the classes - Employee discounts

Cons

- Low pay with no opportunity for advancement, not a career path - Sometimes kitchen is understaffed, putting a lot of pressure on you
