Pros
The employee discount is awesome, 40% off full price items no matter how much the item. Profit sharing and company match up to 2%, and an option for Roth IRA. Sales contests give a chance to win free cookware, knives, appliances, etc. Products that have been opened for store demonstrations may be taken home by employees for a week to try at home. As much coffee as is humanly possible to drink during a shift.
Cons
Too many products to keep track. For example, there does not need to be 15 different types of garlic tools in every possibe color. Same thing for can openers. A lot of little items that get marked to clearance a few days after the arrive. Starting pay and annual increases a bit on the low side for a specialty retailer.
