Pros

Discounts, customers were great, free coffee

Cons

Sabotaged by my DM, absolutely zero support from corporate from retail sales side, culinary leadership was a joke. Culinary corporate threw everyday idea they could at changing the program and it sunk. But because they made SO many changes at once it was difficult to pinpoint the cause. Instead of them taking a look at themselves they of course blamed the store and chefs. It’s sad because this could’ve been an amazing store with cooking classes.

- Very fun work - Get to work with professional chefs - You will actually learn more about cooking in this position than you will taking the classes - Employee discounts

Cons

- Low pay with no opportunity for advancement, not a career path - Sometimes kitchen is understaffed, putting a lot of pressure on you
