Pros

The employee discount was a perk.

Cons

I was hardly given any hours, breaks were not well monitored and sometimes it was difficult getting anyone to cover for me on the register if I took a break, and the turnover rate was so high that a few months after the job ended there were no managers or assistant managers who'd worked with me to give a reference.

- Very fun work - Get to work with professional chefs - You will actually learn more about cooking in this position than you will taking the classes - Employee discounts

Cons

- Low pay with no opportunity for advancement, not a career path - Sometimes kitchen is understaffed, putting a lot of pressure on you
