Pros

Working in the kitchen I learned a lot about cooking and prep work. Plus we were allowed to eat or Bing home the leftovers most of the time.

Cons

The dishwashing was always a heavy load and the sanitizer broke often. Being on your feet the whole shift (usually a double shift) and then lifting the heavy plates over and over was back-breaking.

- Very fun work - Get to work with professional chefs - You will actually learn more about cooking in this position than you will taking the classes - Employee discounts

Cons

- Low pay with no opportunity for advancement, not a career path - Sometimes kitchen is understaffed, putting a lot of pressure on you
