Pros

Employee discount and flexible hours.

Cons

The management is horrid. After five years working with the company I can say they do not care about you. You can be the most energetic, optimistic person but you will not see more than a 2% raise and no movement in terms of position. The company is aspiring to carry all Sur la Table brands and fewer nice imports.

- Very fun work - Get to work with professional chefs - You will actually learn more about cooking in this position than you will taking the classes - Employee discounts

Cons

- Low pay with no opportunity for advancement, not a career path - Sometimes kitchen is understaffed, putting a lot of pressure on you
