Pros

Flexible schedule, and, unlike other tutoring companies, there is a room equipped with a white board, markers, pen and paper, calculators, and all the other things you actually need to teach. Instead of always having to go to a student's house, you can use the location. The manager is great; very flexible and helpful, and the other tutor's have a wide range of experience and are willing to answer questions and help you grow your teaching skills. Most of the clients are great to work with; all of the parents are very engaged with their child's learning and happy to work with you.

Cons

Depending on where you are, it can be out of the way, but it is usually worth it. You need to have a flexible schedule if you want to get as many hours as possible- if you restrict yourself to certain times of day you'll loose out on some hours, but it's a trade off.

Pros

Good pay, tutoring is mostly done in student's homes so driving is expected but gas is reimbursed for driving past certain distances, very accommodating of schedules. Good coaching and feedback of tutors on how to handle students and parents. Parents and Suprex Learning staff are kept informed through an easy online portal for scheduling and reviewing sessions. Tutors really care for the students success, many tutors have further qualifications in working with autistic and learning disabled students, so they are very understanding.

Cons

So far I think Suprex Learning has clients mostly in the Southwest, Katy and central Houston areas. I believe other parts of Houston are being added. Good as a supplemental job since most tutoring is done after 3 pm, which limits possible hours per day.
