Superdrug is a place where, if you work hard, get your head down and ultimately are good at your job, better than your pier group, you can flourish fast and push forwards. You won't be served anything on a plate, but you will be rewarded if you put in the work and can deliver things that others cannot.
Cons
There is a game to be played, but if you are good enough, you can progress without playing it.
