Pros

Nothing. Nada. Zilch. Maybe a lunch hour 12-2 where everyone is MIA.

Cons

A now Taiwanese GC weasel that acts military style and questions your every move. You must be controlled, mocked and ridiculed. Why? Because it is the Super Micro way. Ask Charles. The Chinese forget that they are in America. Your S$&t doesn’t fly. It’s reverse discrimination. If you are Chinese and a bonehead (no brain), you will get hired, maybe even promoted one day. If you were raised in the US and Chinese with a whiter voice than the typical white, you are just super f$&”:& special. Golden child. Back stabbers. Cover your heart.:(

Pros

I have enjoyed working in the Supermicro IT & DataCenter infrastructure group. It's an exciting opportunity to be directly involved in some of the most impactful trends in the industry, including AI infrastructure, liquid cooling, high-density computing, and next-generation data center design. As an IT Director focused on Applications and data center infrastructure, I have been able to work with talented, dedicated engineers and business leaders to meet complex customer requirements. The company moves quickly, embraces innovation, and provides opportunities to make meaningful contributions rather than getting lost in layers of bureaucracy.

Cons

The pace can be demanding, and priorities sometimes shift as the business continues to grow rapidly. There are times when processes, tools, and organizational structures are still catching up to the company's expansion. Success often requires flexibility, a willingness to take ownership, and the ability to navigate ambiguity. Employees who prefer highly structured environments and clearly defined boundaries may find the pace challenging.
