Pros

Independent work and a free schedule.

Cons

I read the negative reviews before accepting a position with Suntuity and assumed it was scorned employees, upset with their own performance in a commission based model; I decided to overlook them and take the position. Big mistake. Suntuity encourages high pressure sales based on false promises to rope homeowners into 6 figure, 25 year solar loan options. The proposed 60 - 90 day until activation is an outright lie, as many installations can take as long as a year after contract signing. This lag directly affects your commission as a salesperson, and in the event the homeowner gets fed up and cancels the sale, Suntuity may claw back your initial 30% of commission. Management consists of successful sales associates that have managed to dupe enough customers and they carry the same sales mindset into managing employees. For two months, management stalled, made promises, failed to meet them, and then postponed for a later date or shifted responsibility to another employee. Currently, Suntuity paid 15% of my owed commission, and I have little to no expectation of receiving full payment. Do not waste your time with this company.
