Good compensation. A lot of independence in scheduling my own activities. Able to communicate with owners as needed. Free to develop client relationships.
Cons
Long hours. Resources (manpower) can be limited and is not always distributed fairly to meet the needs on a project site. Can't always get the additional men or equipment needed to do extra work quickly.
