Pros

Within walking distance to food places plus a central kitchen (Not at Joo Koon) Opportunity to learn independently, no training provided with little to no guidance (no knowledge transfer and retention) Good place to be if you are a thick-skinned subpar worker, management will blame the one tanking your supposed job Colleagues are all young as turnover rate is high, everyone is inexperienced together since its our first job Immediately be tasked with being a supervisor and handling managerial roles (with no increment or benefits) If you like drama, this is the place to be, morning meetings are the best time to hear the management having their internal quarrels

Cons

Toxic working environment, expected to handle problems and issues 24 hours a day, 7 days a week Low pay with hardly any VB, need to work 2 years to get the median starting engineer salary for the year you joined and your pay will be barely above the fresh grads that join in following years High workload and responsibilities, 1 person to handle multiple roles, management justifies this by saying lean management and uses the meager yearly(?) increment to threaten you When there's no issue, management will nitpick and find issues, when there's issues, management will flip and blame and flame the person solving the issue instead of tackling the issue (as the problem is usually management themselves, no action talk only) Management views employees as disposable, has no interest in employee retention, only thinks about cost saving and meeting their personal KPI Appraisals are a hoax, best period of time for management to threaten you, progression depends on whether management is able to use you, will blacklist you if you question him

Pros

You acquainted to a lot of projects in automotive plastic and customers. A lot of hands on and you get to learn a lot. Good system in place.

Cons

You need to be very independent and be strong mentally to get a lot of things done.
