I’ve seen significant changes at Sundance that have made it an increasingly difficult place to work. Unfortunately, the company no longer seems to value employee feedback or foster open communication. If you have a question, it’s often hard to get a clear answer, as many leaders seem out of touch with day-to-day operations. The company culture has shifted dramatically, and much of what Sundance used to stand for feels lost. The new CEO comes from a background in retail, but the approach seems more 'business tactical' than 'business strategic', and it's unclear how that’s benefiting the business in the long run. It’s concerning that corporate leadership doesn’t seem to have a strong grasp of the company’s vision or direction. A major red flag is the HR department, which is understaffed and has recently been led by someone with a similar background in a bankrupt retail company. This has contributed to a growing sense of instability and a toxic work environment. The company’s online presence has also suffered. The website is unreliable, and customers are reporting significant delays in shipping with no updates or communication about their orders. Customer service seems to have taken a backseat to business priorities that focus more on profits than customer experience. As for compensation, it’s difficult to justify the low pay for sales associates given the increasing challenges and stress. If you're concerned about the company’s direction, just take a look at some of the growing frustration in customer comments on social media, especially Instagram. Overall, I’m deeply disappointed with how things have changed. Save yourself & run.
