Pros
-Suncor pays well but only to top management where people tend to recruit their own buddies -management had not removed tea and coffee from coffee stations -washrooms still stocked with toilet paper thankfully
Cons
Ridiculous amounts of nepotism and favouritism Top management is completely lost and talent is being poached or actively seeking to leave the company Current reorganization threatens to lay off even more remaining experienced employees that have helped Suncors performance in past in favour of incompetent employees that agree to everything their bosses ask for. A lot of unnecessary grief and anxiety created with recent reorganization which will impact Suncor's future performance when management realize the company is devoid of talent. Company does not care even if you have 10-15 years experience within Suncor even and have contributed significantly when cuts come if you don't have a buddy manager you're out so would caution newcomers contemplating applying to this mess. Lack of development plans and any foresight to train employees to grow with constant excuses of budgetary constraints.
