      There was a paycheck every week

      I was a database manager for top management. I kept a database of women he met on the road. It was a database system with a rating point system 1-5 based on looks, body measurements and most importantly age. The younger the better. This was a salary paid position within the company, but had poor growth opportunity. Also, keeping a database of women had its drawbacks in terms of feel good employment.

      Pros

      There were some really great managers and lower level staff in the transactions and operations teams.

      Cons

      All of those amazing people eventually quit. For the office support staff, it was increasingly obvious that the senior management prized schmoozing and knowing the right people in the company over actual work output and ability.
