Pros

The perks of the job are amazing. I got paid to go kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding. The co-workers are overall friendly. It was one of the best experiences of my life and my co-workers became my family. The training was good, other sales associates took me under their wings.

Cons

Sometimes the hours suck because you have to work some holidays, but its usually fine. Since you sell expensive equipment if something goes wrong the customers get pretty angry.

Pros

They offer good employee discounts, which is super important if you're into the sports that they supply for...saves you tons of money if you want the best gear! The company offers gift certificates for goods as a reward for top sales, etc. which can add up to FREE STUFF! :)

Cons

Work is somewhat seasonal and not steady. Majority of business is made in the winter when winter sports are popular. There's lots of local competition/stores that carry similar products. It's difficult to move up in the company since it is on the smaller-scale of things and the people in upper management have worked there for years and years, plus, it doesn't seem that they're on the wave of expansion to warrant promotions.
