Pros

*Fun spending other people's money helping them build cars and trucks *Continuous learning on the go *Lots of sources in tracking down parts *Really cool customers *Parts discount was pretty nice *Christmas card from the owner, Mr. Sergi

Cons

*Micro-managed to the point that they would manage the pants off of an ant *Listened secretly to and critiqued beyond belief *Management was a joke and treated you like you were stupid *Treated like a number, not a person *Pay was $16 plus some commission, very low pay for the position and all the parts that you sell for the company *The founder Mr. Sergi, would be very disappointed at how some of his greatest employees were treated if he knew about it *The Tech Help Desk is a joke, most of the guys are pissed off when you call for help, angry that you should know it all and not to call and bother them, even though that is what they are paid for! They treat you like you are stupid and make you feel stupid by their condescending attitude!

Pros

Good benefits generally, pay is decent, generally nice coworkers, lots of flexibility normally.

Cons

Target pet project of any upper management becomes law. Large amount of policy grey areas get overlooked resulting in alot of workers slacking to look good on paper, But if someone high up goes 'I'd like us to improve this metric or do this program then you'll be fired in a minute if you make your supervisor look bad in that area. Spent 75% of my time fixing other people's half work to completion and excellent reviews just to be let go for not meeting a quota on socializing with co-workers because 'they want us to feel like a family'. Health insurance only covers generic medical issues and requires hoops for approval for anything outside of annual physicals and seasonal viruses. No mental health coverage outside of addiction counseling (which if they find out you need then they fire you per policy) and a 1800 to talk to a random counselor that only specializes in work stress. Pushed to use insurance's Tele-doc for anything.
