Pros

- some great people & teams - excellent training opportunities - varied work - range of major clients to work for - some very able, knowledgeable managers - excellent place to gain experience in digital marketing - fast-paced environment - generous annual leave allowance, rising with years of employment - extra paid day off for own birthday - daily free breakfast; weekly staff lunch - annual Experience for Life - good start to working life for new graduates - fab for all those who like to party - regular social events - nice office building - profit share (although in some cases excuses will be found not to pay this) - opportunities for progression (mainly for those who are friends with or related to the 'right' people) - perfect for those on power trips and with big egos

Cons

- huge staff turnover & staff retention seems irrelevant - low pay - expectation to work free overtime with no notice & at weekends - managers don't have to be competent, knowledgeable or be able to genuinely lead people, so long as they're friends with the 'right' senior manager - some colleagues have been known to be shouted at by line management - CEO doesn't care about the poor behaviour of some managers - not all opportunities for progression are advertised internally; there's a lot of favouritism shown to relatives and friends of the 'right' people - very cliquey - it's all about office politics and being in with the millennial crowd - colleagues who don't go to all the social events and parties are seen as killjoys and become irrelevant - more adult playground than meaningful work environment - beware of loud office, regular hysterical screeching and occasional flying objects - clients get charged for the time when colleagues are joking around and socialising

Pros

•Good training programs. •Convenient office location. •Some great colleagues to work with. •Compressed working.

Cons

•Low Pay: The pay doesn’t reflect the effort or workload of employees or support financial stability. •Incompetent leadership: Some senior staff lack the necessary skills, leaving junior staff unsupported and undervalued. •Limited Progression Opportunities: Despite promises of promotions or pay raises for dedicated staff, these rarely come through especially for junior members of staff. •Dismissive of Feedback: Concerns about being overworked or undervalued are brushed aside without real solutions; staff are told they are “putting too much pressure on themselves” and left to deal with this alone. •Poor Work-Life Balance: Concerns about work-life balance are often raised, but there is no emotional or practical support provided to address these issues. •High Turnover Rate: The ongoing issues contribute to a high turnover, leaving teams understaffed for extended periods as they struggle to replace employees - only for the cycle to repeat. •Lack of professionalism: There is a lot of gossip among senior members who undermine and discuss the abilities of their colleagues and ex colleagues, which reflects a clear lack of professionalism.
