Pros

Like getting a degree in energy; always challenging. Opportunities to present in front of colleagues and clients on a regular basis. Surrounded by experts who have been in the industry and at the company for many years.

Cons

One could view the recent acquisition as a con, as the company is now part of a very large organization. Others view as more opportunity.

Pros

- Interns are trusted with an incredible amount of responsibility - Helpful, supportive, open, friendly, informative environment with really wonderful people - Great corporate culture - Work is usually complex and engaging - Work on big name clients (large national/international corporations, recognizable brands) - Interns are treated with respect and the attitude that they will probably hire you upon graduation. - With the great responsibility you are given, you are fairly autonomous, but there are always resources to reach out to if you need help - Your innovation and input is valued - always a focus on efficiency and creating value for customers - Great intro to the energy market from the ground-up (from individual utility invoices to daily market forecasts) - Company seems to be rapidly expanding and adding new clients - Work-life balance seems healthy within the company - Lots of fun company events - Business casual atmosphere - About 80% of interns are hired into full time positions upon graduation

Cons

- Work can be very repetitive - If you don't like invoices, you should stay far, far away - Are expected to work a large amount of hours during the school year - Pays well, but some other internships pay better - Recent brand integration, which you could see as either a detriment or an opportunity, depending
