      Pros

      I love the approach that Summit uses for members is not a "sales" approach. It makes it easier to connect with our members. great onboarding experience and training atmosphere. They really prepare you for the job.

      Cons

      limited room for growth for career paths internally. Would rather overlook the universal banker/ teller for Sr UB and lender positions and above after making promises of growth with onboarding. Thats probably the reason for turnover. Also the pay can definitely improve as well.

      Pros

      Very positive atmosphere & welcoming during training period at HQ. Trainers are very knowledgeable & easily approachable. Staff at branch are also very supportive & helpful with continued training. Company as a whole is very invested in the wellness of their members & employees equally. Best decision I made in going back to financial industry after being in retail 25+ years. Summit definitely listens to their employees & is very open to many ideas on how to better the credit union. I have enjoyed company meetings & celebrations, they really keep you engaged in the networking functions or training sessions. Highly recommend.

      Some branch locations not available in certain areas. But I know we are still growing and will eventually expand.
