Pros
I have loved working for this company. I would actually have given them 5 stars if not for the cons. It was a great fit for me.Great people to work with, family life balance, good pay, and good benefits Lots of good talent and knowledge in the employees.
Cons
Sulzer as a whole is very disorganized, and it starts at the main office in Switzerland. Plants are closing, jobs are being outsourced. Bad synergy within the company. Constant change and constant restructuring. When that happens, you can't tell if what you were changing to begin with actually worked. In the US, there are politics between the plants, one of which is all but shut down. Again, there is no structure and no standard operating procedures. Each service center operates as if it is a single company, and not as one. With all the layoffs and plant closings, this company has become very unstable in their processes. Also, a majority of the stock now belongs to the Russians
