Pros

Stuut is one of the best environments I’ve worked in for ownership and growth. You’re trusted to take on meaningful responsibility early, move quickly, and have a direct impact on the company’s success. The team is ambitious, the learning curve is steep, and if you’re motivated to push yourself, you’ll grow faster here than at most larger organizations.

Cons

It’s a startup, which means the pace is intense and there’s always more work to do. Work-life balance can be challenging at times, especially during periods of rapid growth or major company initiatives.

Pros

Compensation and benefits may be competitive depending on the role.

Cons

Management frequently communicates in an aggressive and confrontational manner, including cursing. Employees who challenge decisions or attempt to hold management accountable may feel marginalized or fear retaliation. The overall environment can be stressful, demoralizing, and damaging to morale. Transparency, psychological safety, and respectful communication are areas that need significant improvement.

Thanks for sharing your experience. We’re a startup, and we move fast. We value ownership, direct communication, and honest debate. Conversations can be intense at times, and yes, people occasionally curse. That’s not because we want people to be disrespectful—it’s because we’re a group of passionate people working through hard problems together in a relatively informal environment. What matters to us is not whether every conversation is perfectly polished, but whether people are treated fairly, can challenge ideas openly, and have the freedom to make decisions without unnecessary hierarchy. We expect disagreement and debate, and we believe good ideas can come from anywhere in the company. That said, there’s a difference between being direct and being disrespectful. If someone felt uncomfortable speaking up or felt marginalized, that’s feedback worth reflecting on. Building a great culture is something we’re constantly working on as we grow. We appreciate the feedback and wish you the best.
