Pros

What I enjoyed about my time at StudioNorth were the intelligent and talented people I was fortunate enough to work with every day. I met people who cared about their work, acted with integrity and treated people with respect.

Cons

Unfortunately, I am speaking of only a handful of people. You will be closely monitored, having your arrival and departure time observed daily. If you are a woman, beware. Most of the employees subscribe to a particular faith. If you need to make a decent salary, look elsewhere, unless you like living in your parents’ basement. Integrity is a touted value, but it’s simply a marketing term. No one trusts anyone, and neither should you. The entire vibe of the place is that someone is always watching you: You are not to be trusted as a responsible, professional adult. Anger lies thinly beneath the surface for a large amount of the staff. The future of this company is not bright. The company lacks direction and will take any job that bring in money. The word “no” is not allowed to be uttered by account team. Best to look elsewhere for a more fruitful and satisfying professional opportunity.

Pros

The culture is genuinely caring and supportive. People here truly look out for one another and are passionate about what they do. Creative collaboration thrives across every department; no matter your role, great ideas are welcomed and valued. The leadership team checks in with employees, actively listens to feedback, and makes thoughtful changes when needed.

Cons

At times, resources can feel stretched given the fast pace and volume of work. The company recently went through layoffs, which was difficult for everyone involved.

Pros

A wide range of design projects.

Cons

Top management does not listen to the employees. CEO seems like a great person though.
