Pros

I'm biased. I'm the CEO! Neverthelessss.... I still mean it! Streamlit is by far the smartest, most ambitious, and kindest, group of people I've worked with. It's truly a pleasure to work with the team every day! (To calibrate this perspective: I've taught at Carnegie Mellon, and worked at Google and Google X -- all organizations that famously attract superb people -- and Streamlit is *still* the best group I've ever worked with!) Why is it so great? - It's incredibly fun to work on a beloved product. There's a huge global community behind Streamlit. Every day our Slack channels are flooded with messages from grateful and excited users! - Streamlit is growing 2-3X every year in headcount. There's tons of opportunity to shape our products and processes! - Streamlit is a strongly value-driven. See more here: streamlit.io/careers

Like every fast-growing company, there are countless problems and inefficiencies throughout Streamlit's operations. The good news is that there's a strong sense of purpose and candor which encourages us to highlight and solves these problems.

Pros

Streamlit is pretty cool. Awesome product (of which I use VERY often) and it's amazing meeting all the other Student Ambassadors.

Cons

Nothing I can think of.

Pros

The company really cares for each other. Very kind individuals and a lot of focus on collaboration. Very little employee churn compared to other startups I've been at, and an honest focus on work-life balance and making room for family. Also really exciting product growth and opportunities to grow in career.

Cons

It's a startup so you can be asked to wear a lot of hats and do things you've never done before. Often that's exciting but it can also be scary and stressful. There is a big vision and a lot to do.
