Pros

The "front line" staff are some of the best I have ever worked with. No other pros here though.

Cons

Toxic and nepotistic work environment. Management accepts no responsibility for bad judgement and decision, and instead blames the staff. LOTS of blaming to the point of harassment. As such, turnover rate is the highest I have ever witnessed at an company I have worked for. I my first year, 75% of the people hired at the same time I was were already gone! Those that stay survive by finding someone else to switch blame to other than themselves. Pay is well below market standard, insurance benefits are so bad they are mostly unusable, and the company makes NO contribution to employee 401K plans. This is not a place to even consider a career. It won't happen.

Pros

Overall, the team is amazing to work with. There are a ton of people who genuinely care and leadership truly support their teams. There have been many changes over the last year that I have been here and we are trying to make this company the best we can. It has been one of the best companies I have worked for in my career so far and look forward to where we are going.

Cons

Navigating some of the changes and working through breaking bad habits or old ways of thinking has been frustrating.

Pros

The mission in behavioral health is important, and many employees are genuinely committed to the populations served. The work can be meaningful and challenging, with opportunities to take on significant responsibility. Colleagues are often thoughtful and mission-driven, and remote flexibility can be a positive.

Cons

During periods of organizational change, workforce decisions have at times felt abrupt and poorly timed, including changes occurring around major holidays. Communication and change management can be inconsistent, which can be especially difficult in a mission-driven environment. I also observed concerns among employees about whether internal people practices consistently reflected the organization’s stated values around care, equity, and inclusion, particularly as responsibilities expanded without corresponding adjustments in compensation or support. Over time, this contributed to attrition and reduced trust across several teams.
