Pretty great company to work - Devops Engineer Stratus Solutions Employee Review

Nice people, good mentorship, HR is really helpful/friendly

Only got to work remotely due to COVID

After researching the best IT companies, Stratus gave me most opportunity for career growth and the the best benefits/salary package. I really like that they focus on there core competencies of DevOps and Cloud Security and don't try to just place people in any contract they can. Leadership has also shown they have a clear direction for growing the company and aren't looking for short term growth to then turn around and sell to a large contacting company which was key for me in finding a place to grow my career. I'm impressed by their dedication to the employees and providing generous benefits (10% 401k contribution, impressive health care package, generous vacation and paid maternity/paternity leave, etc) but I didn't realize till after starting all the other small things that make it a fun place to go to work to every day (clothing allowance, paid overhead time for tech talks, peer based employee recognition bonuses, etc)

Stratus has been growing at an impressive rate and scaling can have it's challenges. The leaders are approachable and have been able to keep up with the growth so far. Also, we need more space at HQ so we can get our ping pong table back :)
