Thank you for this feedback. We did go through the very painful process of reducing our staff by 9 associates last year, something we have only done 1 other time in our 40 year history. Senior leaders involved in this process spent many hours diligently discussing these very difficult circumstances with a priority in taking care of those impacted through generous and thoughtful exit packages. As is common in these types of situations, business operations does not provide the luxury of informing those outside of the decision making process in advance, which I’m sure you can understand. We pride ourselves in our traditional, family-like feel and culture; it’s something that differentiates us, yet we know we can always improve.
