Pros

For those willing to work hard, it is a great place to get sales experience. They also foster a strong corporate culture.

Cons

Expectations around work/life balance and compensation are a bit unrealistic.

Pros

Culture is cool, a lot of positive energy. The director knows professionalism and has integrity, lacks in the experience area but that is made up through his personality and leadership style. He’s very understanding and easy going. Good money if you get good at sales. I believe it’s more beneficial for part time workers so you’re not dedicating too much time. Which is why I believe it’s not for everyone.

Cons

You have to dedicate a lot of time to the position. It is constantly mentioned that there is a good work life balance, but there isn’t. Working 10-12 hours a day (counting driving) showing up to an unpaid morning meeting and then standing in a BJs selling AT&T (gas isn’t paid for). In these morning meetings they repeat the same things every week, it feels like you’re in a cult sometimes. In these meetings they share something motivational or educational, but they’re just selling the business to keep people working for them. They share how much a director can make, but I have made a recent discovery that they don’t make that much at all. They also make you feel awful when you’re not early or the last person to leave. Job takes a lot away from your time. If you’re fine with that and get good at sales and training, by all means this is for you. Main thing for me was that a lot of things were promised that I did not receive. Left as soon as I was told these lies. To sum it all up, it’s not a good company to work for, but if you don’t have experience and don’t have a lot on your resume to get you into a good company, this could help a little. And if you don’t mind dedicating your life to this go ahead. At the end of the day a job is a job.
