Amazing startup ! - Devops Engineer Stormpath Employee Review

One of the best things about Stormpath, and something that continues to surprise me after years of working for the company, is how amazing the company culture is. I can honestly say that I like and respect my colleagues and management, and I feel that the team is made up of smart, passionate people who really care about one another and the work that we're doing. The management team here is very focused on the human element of the company. They make a real effort to have regular one-on-ones with everyone on the team and to apprised of anything going on in people's personal lives that they may need support for. Everyone is encouraged to share feedback and be involved in continuing to make the company better. if you want to feel like a member of a team- someone with a real voice and a meaningful impact- rather than just another employee, this is the place to be.

As with any startup, things can sometimes get intense, but at least it's never boring :) There's always more work to be done than there are hours in the day, and that's 1/2 the fun. It's all about prioritization and staying focused on what will be most impactful.

At Stormpath it doesn't feel like anyone is in a stretch role. Everyone is incredibly talented, and so passionate about what they do and what we're building. It's an amazing team to be a part of.

Passionate folks are known for having opinions, and when those people are also smart and business savvy you end up with a lot of differing opinions for every project. We get better every day at solving problems faster and respecting all the voices, but it's certainly a work in progress.
