Good technical team, ineffective upper management - Anonymous employee Stormpath Employee Review

One of the best things about Stormpath, and something that continues to surprise me after years of working for the company, is how amazing the company culture is. I can honestly say that I like and respect my colleagues and management, and I feel that the team is made up of smart, passionate people who really care about one another and the work that we're doing. The management team here is very focused on the human element of the company. They make a real effort to have regular one-on-ones with everyone on the team and to apprised of anything going on in people's personal lives that they may need support for. Everyone is encouraged to share feedback and be involved in continuing to make the company better. if you want to feel like a member of a team- someone with a real voice and a meaningful impact- rather than just another employee, this is the place to be.

As with any startup, things can sometimes get intense, but at least it's never boring :) There's always more work to be done than there are hours in the day, and that's 1/2 the fun. It's all about prioritization and staying focused on what will be most impactful.

There is a professional work ethic here with every single employee and contractor focused on high quality work. Sometimes even a little too much ( perfect vs good enough for today ). The office culture is very friendly and welcoming. We're a group of individuals from all walks of life but definitely share a nerd vein. The leadership is open and honest. And you can tell noone is taken for granted, but also that noone is considered untouchable. Free lunch!

Everything that comes with startups in general. Not sure if company will sell and be picked up by larger entity. Or if we'll continue to be Stormpath. So far things are looking really great. But who knows in a years time. As is the case with startups!
