Pros
- Great learning experience if your Coach is patient & willing to guide.
- People on the ground are talented, hardworking, eager to help.
- A place to start-up your career for sure.
- Salary remuneration is on par with industry standards.
Cons
Let’s get to the good part:
- the type of benefits that matter, like medical insurance for dependents, is not high on the list of priorities.
- career progression is not great for certain roles.
- there is a lot of cultural brainwash and trying to be different from corporate companies. Top management does not practice what they preach. They do what they like because they can.
- something you thought was a favour to someone else, will eventually become your job scope under the term “ad-hoc tasks” so you can’t argue with it.
- The priority is for you to achieve goals and targets. Your health, well-being, etc. no one cares. It is deemed a you problem not a company problem.
- there are some great leaders. They will fight for you. There are some not so great, who should never lead people but should focus on their own talents. Who promoted them? God knows.
