Pros

Health insurance is provided and coworkers were nice.

Cons

* Extremely unrealistic expectations for ramp-up — expected to handle a full client load within a few weeks, despite the complexity of the signage industry * Training was limited (30 days) after which I was told I wasn’t a “good fit” because I hadn’t reached performance levels five times higher and was not given any heads up prior to that. * No true sick leave — only accrue three hours of personal time per month, which amounts to less than five days a year making work life balance virtually nonexistent * Had to negotiate one week of vacation up to two * Felt like they were more focused on quick output than investing in employee development

Pros

The work can be interesting since it's all custom

Cons

Must stroke the bosses ego or be treated with indifference and have your job threatened. Expectation is that you possess engineer knowledge but are willing to work for laborer wages.
